
The Story
LS engines are among the most popular choices for engine swaps due to their affordability and strong power potential. However, factory-style LS oil pans do not always provide the clearance needed for certain chassis configurations. That’s where TSP’s low-profile retrofit oil pan comes in.
Constructed from lightweight cast aluminum, this pan is designed to increase clearance to both the ground and chassis. It is compatible with many GM rear-wheel-drive applications originally equipped with GM small-block or big-block V8 engines using a rear-sump oil pan configuration.
Carefully engineered for wet-sump LS applications, this oil pan is designed to maintain proper fitment and accepts the factory-style oil filter. Based on the design of our 81073, the 81075 features additional cutouts that improve compatibility with factory-style Ford Fox Body K-member and rack-and-pinion setups. The pan also includes a threaded boss on each side for turbocharger oil-return provisions.
